Long weekend crafting begins!

Hi there! Happy almost 4th of July (or Canada Day even!) - for me, long weekends always mean PROJECTS. And I promptly started on a scalable vector I'd been working on. I took it to the Cricut and cut the card out of 80lb basic office cardstock and lined the front panel with some thinner black cardstock. I did have to reposition some of the pieces manually once the black background was in place.

I'm definitely a bit overzealous when it comes to personal projects... I think for ease of cutting again, I would make the stripes thicker. While I am happy with the outcome, it took quite a while cutting it on a slower speed, removing the negative pieces, pasting...etc. I think a lot of that could be rectified with thicker stripes. We will have to see some other time!

Welcome!

Hello! We hope you enjoy visiting and reading about our individual and group efforts.

Brought together by a love of crafting and creating, the three of us will be sharing our projects and about our progress as we branch out into new mediums.

A short intro!

Big Sister, Little Sister, and Middle Sister celebrating a birthday!

Big Sister - Rounding out a stint in the fashion industry as a junior apparel designer. Enjoys working in almost every medium and is almost instantly captivated by something new.

Middle Sister - Finishing up her B.S. in Interior Design and will likely be transitioning to a graduate program in Architecture. Enjoyed working with oils but nowadays spends days on end in her studio rendering on Revit.

Little Sister - Toughing it out with her two big sisters while trying to get through elementary school with excellent grades :) According to her, markers are currently her favorite medium.
